Dried Flower Care 101

You've received your new everlasting dried blooms (yay!), but you're not sure how to make sure your new baby is lives its best life? Here's some of our tricks of the trade to make sure your dried blooms look their best for years on end!

KEEP OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT
These babies aren't a huge fan of sunlight, exposure to the sun can cause discolouration and fading.

To keep your blooms looking vibrant, make sure to keep them away from direct sunlight and opt for a spot with indirect or shaded light.

PUT THE WATER DOWN!
They're not called dried blooms for nothing!

Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct heating and cooling. We want these beauties to stay dry to prevent mould or any other nasties from growing (nobody needs that in their life!)

A LITTLE TLC NEVER HURT NOBODY
We can all use a little lovin' every once in a while, and your dried bunch is no exception! Be sure to dust your blooms every so often to avoid them becoming a fancy dust collector.

You may find that some of your dried stems need coercing back to their best selves, particularly cotton. A spritz of hairspray and a little finessing does wonders!

BE KIND TO YOUR BLOOMS, AND THEY'LL BE KIND TO YOU!
Lastly, be sure to enjoy your special bouquet as it continues to build character with age! If you show your blooms some love, they'll be sure to last and make your space beautiful for years in end!
